Milani Rose Powder Blush Collection (Limited Edition)

Yesterday I decided to stop by a Walgreens that I rarely go to and to my surprise they had a fully stocked display of the new Milani Rose powder blushes. I wasn't expecting to see these at the store until March so when I saw them I didn't hesitate to get all four shades.

Not only is the packaging of these blushes absolutely gorgeous, but the pigmentation is really great. The colors are all so vibrant and blend really well. They are a little bit chalky, but if applied lightly with a blush brush that is not an issue. They come in four different shades and are completely matte.

05 Coral Cove
06 Lady Rouge
07 Love Potion
08 Tea Rose

This first blush is Coral Cove (with and without flash) and it is a bright coral.

This second blush is Lady Rogue (with and without flash) and it is a hot red.

The third blush is Love Potion (with and without flash) and it is a dark rose.

The fourth and final blush is Tea Rose (with and without flash) and it is a light rose.

Here are the swatches of all the shades

Left to Right - Coral Cove, Lady Rouge, Love Potion, and Tea Rose
I am so glad I was able to get my hands on these limited edition blushes before they sold out. They were $7.49 at Walgreens, but if I didn't find them at the store I was planning on ordering them directly from the Milani website where they are listed for $7.99. I definitely recommend you to go and get these blushes before they are gone! As always if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Haul #1 - Tj Maxx, Sephora, & CVS

About two weeks ago I bought a couple of stuff from Tj Maxx, Sephora and CVS and I never got around to posting a picture of my mini haul until now! Swatches will be provided at the end :)

The first couple of items were from Tj Maxx. Essie nail polish in the shade fear or desire was marked at $4.99, this is a bright orange and it is fully opaque with one coat. This retails for $8.50 on the Essie website

Essie nail polish in the shade navigate her was also marked down to $4.99, this is a light green and was also fully opaque with one coat. It also retails for $8.50 on the Essie website.

e.l.f. Studio Blush in Pink Passion was marked down to $2.39. This retails for $3 of the e.l.f. website

This next item was the only one from Sephora and it is the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Anarchy. After receiving a sample of it in my Ipsy bag I fell in love with their lipsticks! These lipsticks retail for $22 so they are on the pricey side, but they are totally worth it. They are creamy, lightweight and go on your lips really smooth. I had a $25 gift card for Sephora so I didn't pay anything for it.

These last two items were from CVS and I bought these specifically for highlighting and contouring. I got the Maybelline Fit Me foundation in Coconut 355 for $7.99

I also got the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in ivory 320 for $7.99

Here are the promised swatches!

Essise - fear or desire

Essie - navigate her

e.l.f. - pink passion

Top to bottom - ivory, coconut, anarchy

Great finds at TjMaxx!

Earlier today my mom and I decided to go to TjMaxx to do some last minute Valentine's Day shopping. As usual we have to go look around the decor area to see what we find. It was my lucky day not only did I find one, or two, but I found three makeup organizers at really good prices!

The first one I bought was this Hold Everything - small compartment organizer which was only $9. 99. It has room for 12 lipsticks on the right side, 3 compartments along the back to store liners or brushes, and 1 big compartment on the left side to store bigger products.

The second thing I bought was this 3 drawer makeup organizer by Isaac Jacobs for $19. 99. It has 3 long drawers and small knobs to pull them out.

The last one I bought was also by Hold Everything and it's an acrylic lipstick riser that can hold 9 lipsticks for only $3. 99.

Overall I think these were all very good prices and are great quality. If you are looking for some makeup organizers I would suggest you go to a TjMaxx near you and see if you can get your hands on some of these. As always if you have any question feel free to ask :)
